Job Description
The Industrial Strategy (IS) Facilities Systems Product/Process Specialist will lead projects in design and cost estimation of Facilities systems for Propulsion Plants as indicated by requirements in the Long Range Plan. This will include Building/Construction, Filtration, Mist/Dust collection, and all other equipment as required for new model launches in North America, Canada, and Mexico. The role of this Specialist will be to apply Process Standards developed by the Underbody Process Engineering (UPE) group to develop proposals for new product introductions, including process design, layout, and cost estimations (Capital, Tooling, and Expense).Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechanical preferred, Civil, Electrical and/or Industrial acceptable8 years of automotive project experience with emphasis on Facilities systems development (either Engine or Transmission)Experience leading teams in development of new product/process introduction proposals and cost estimationExperience directly managing process engineering development and launch activitiesExperience in execution of projects for new product/processes including RFQ/Sourcing/Commissioning/LaunchStrong computer skills - particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and 3D Rendering/Graphic RepresentationExcellent communication skills - both orally and in writtenAbility to communicate with Executive/Senior ManagementSuccessful candidate must have the ability to work as part of a teamMust be able to travel 10-20% as required to visit Propulsion Division plants andSuppliersPreferred Qualifications:
