Maintenance Engineer we are hiring for 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) $32/hr Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Engineer where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing industrial production machinery. You will perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on automated machinery, such as nonperforming machines, waterjets, conveyors, and stamping cells. Responsibilities Conduct preventive maintenance and address machine downtime. Perform electrical or hydraulic repairs on components as required. Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders/rams, and lines. Undertake machine repair tasks, with a minimum of 4+ recent years of experience. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues independently or manage robotic teach points. Work extended shifts of 10+ hours and be available for weekend work. Essential Skills Proficiency in hydraulic repair and rebuilding. 4+ years of recent machine repair experience. Capability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues independently. Ability to work long hours and weekends. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with stamping or injection molding. Welding skills. Tooling experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a manufacturing setting where carpeted products are created for the automotive industry. The facility operates with 10-12 stamping cells, each with approximately six presses, requiring frequent hydraulic and mechanical repairs. We maintain a balanced workload across three shifts, with each shift having two technicians. Shifts include 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am), with work often spanning 6-7 days a week. Dress code requires jeans or work pants, a work shirt (provided), steel-toed shoes, and safety glasses. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
