As a Sr Facilities Engineer here at Honeywell, you will hold a senior-level role and maintain a strong focus on managing and optimizing the maintenance and operational aspects of an organization's physical facilities. Your expertise in facilities management will not only enhance the productivity and efficiency of our operations but also contribute to the overall success of the business. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Develop and implement long-term strategies for facilities maintenance, aligning them with the organization's goals and objectives Create, oversee, and optimize budgets for maintenance activities, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards Manage and maintain an inventory of facility assets, planning for replacements or upgrades as needed, and ensuring the organization's assets are well-maintained Ensure that all facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, manage permits and certifications, and stay informed about industry standards Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with established service levels Implement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact Conduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure that maintenance work meets established standards Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, or other crises Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to understand their facility needs and provide timely updates on maintenance initiatives Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in facilities maintenance practices Qualifications Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance Strong knowledge of building facility systems (HVAC, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Heating, Water Systems, Waste Water Treatment Plant, etc.) Strong Computer skills (Excel, word, team, Microsoft, PPT) CAD capability
