Residential Facilities Engineer Goldenrod Companies Kansas City, MO Job Details Full-time $25 - $26 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Outdoor work Customer service Maintenance High school diploma or GED Electrical experience Power tools Hand tools Facilities maintenance Full Job Description Facilities Engineer (Residential) - Kansas City, MO Goldenrod Property Services Goldenrod Property Services is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our team at one of our residential communities in Kansas City. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, moves quickly, and understands how important quality and resident experience are in a well-run community. What You'll Do Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the property (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry) Complete service requests quickly and professionally with a strong attention to detail Execute high-quality make-readies to ensure units are move-in ready within company timelines Handle after-hours emergency maintenance (on-call rotation required) Maintain the overall appearance and curb appeal of the property Inspect vacant units and coordinate repairs to meet readiness standards Assist with preventative maintenance, including seasonal upkeep Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain an organized shop Coordinate with vendors and support cost-effective maintenance operations Deliver excellent customer service to residents and team members What We're Looking For General maintenance experience (appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently High attention to detail and sense of ownership Customer-service mindset and professional communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in a physically active, outdoor/indoor role Requirements High school diploma or GED required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions Must be available for on-call rotation (24/7 when scheduled) Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Must pass a background check Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM On-call rotation required for after-hours emergencies Why Goldenrod Goldenrod Companies is a vertically integrated real estate platform with a strong and growing national presence.
