$70,000•$100,000 per year Job Details•We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Facilities Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in autocad, mechanical skills, improving chemical handling systems and infrastructure, HVAC, high voltage experience, equipment specifications, compliance, and hazardous chemicals. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Utilize your expert skills in AutoCAD to design and implement new systems and modifications to existing systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity. Apply your mechanical skills to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of equipment and machinery. Improve chemical handling systems and infrastructure to ensure safety and efficiency. Manage and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all staff. Utilize your high voltage experience to safely and effectively manage and maintain electrical systems. Develop and implement equipment specifications to ensure optimal performance and safety. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to safety, environmental impact, and quality. Manage hazardous chemicals, ensuring their safe storage, handling, and disposal.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry. Expert skills in AutoCAD. Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of equipment and machinery. Proven experience improving chemical handling systems and infrastructure. Experience managing and maintaining HVAC systems. High voltage experience, with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Experience developing and implementing equipment specifications. Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance. Experience managing hazardous chemicals, with a strong understanding of safe storage, handling, and disposal practices. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
