Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Chief Maintenance Engineer to lead our facilities and industrial maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, HVAC units, and facility infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance teams, and coordinate complex projects to uphold the highest standards of operational excellence. Duties Lead and supervise maintenance teams responsible for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and industrial systems across the facility. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to maximize equipment uptime. Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of machinery, including high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and mechanical components. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades, equipment installation, and system upgrades ensuring timely completion within budget. Conduct regular inspections of facilities using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to diagnose issues accurately. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper handling of high voltage systems and adherence to regulations governing industrial maintenance. Collaborate with management on maintenance management strategies that improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize resource allocation. Requirements Proven management experience leading maintenance or facilities teams within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems; ability to read electrical schematics is essential. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks involving machinery repair and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC systems, and facilities management practices. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with excellent leadership qualities to motivate teams effectively. Proficiency in English for clear communication across diverse teams; additional language skills are a plus.
