  • 95K/year Position Summary We are seeking a results-driven Engineer to join our textile manufacturing facility in Mount Holly, NC.
This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role focused on supporting production efficiency, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement throughout the operation. Key Responsibilities Support the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and improve facility systems, including: Boilers Air compressors Motors HVAC systems Pumps Modify existing equipment to meet changing production requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs. Improve and utilize work order systems to ensure timely equipment repairs and maintenance activities. Partner with Maintenance and Operations teams to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Design, quote, and build equipment, fixtures, and process aids, including: Structural components Electrical wiring Sensors and controls Process improvements Coordinate engineering projects with Operations to meet production priorities and timelines. Evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Evaluate work environments to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. Promote a safe, clean, and organized workplace culture. Collaborate effectively with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external vendors. Communicate project updates, recommendations, and technical solutions across departments. Lead by example and foster accountability throughout the organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Textile Engineering Or a closely related engineering discipline Working knowledge of: Boilers Air compressors Motors Pumps HVAC systems Proficiency with: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft PowerPoint AutoCAD Strong understanding of: Safety programs Quality systems Productivity improvement Continuous improvement methodologies Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
