Full-time Description:
The E3 Engineer is responsible for performing journeyman-level maintenance, repair, and operational tasks in support of facility systems and equipment. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The E3 Engineer works independently or under limited supervision to diagnose issues, perform scheduled preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests to maintain optimal facility performance and compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Perform journeyman-level troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Conduct preventive maintenance on boilers, pumps, motors, fans, compressors, controls, and other building systems. Replace belts, bearings, filters, seals, valves, and other components as needed. Perform routine maintenance and guest service calls in and around the hotel , bathrooms, restaurants, and public areas, equipment, pools, etc. Adjust or replace hardware such as door handles, latches, hinges, drawer slides, etc. Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing guest-related issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. Communicate effectively with supervisors, housekeeping, and other departments as needed. Document all work performed using maintenance forms. Working Conditions:
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions. May be exposed to cleaning agents, dust, noise, and tight spaces. Must be able to respond to maintenance needs in occupied guest areas professionally and discreetly.
Schedule:
Dayshift 7am-3pm
Off Friday and Saturday Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 3 years' experience in general maintenance, or a related trade. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pumps, etc. Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience. Familiarity with basic preventive maintenance schedules and checklists. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Stand or walk for extended periods and climb stairs or ladders. CPO license preferred Must possess a current, valid driver's license. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
