Mechanical Engineer:

The successful candidate shall be able to work independently with minimal supervision for tasks as follows:

Able to communicate directly with clients.

Plan, conceptualize, and create HVAC mechanical designs for new and retrofit buildings/projects in the mission critical environmentDuct design/piping design experienceCentral plant cooling designPerform typical HVAC engineering calculations to support design workCreate technical drawings, plans, and specifications (using computer software)Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractorsEnsure project timelines are met and project stays within budgetAble to travel to project sitesQualificationsQualifications for Mechanical EngineerBachelor's degree in mechanical engineeringEIT/PE a plus10+ years (min) of experience working for a design engineering firm including some Mission Critical (data center) design experienceFirm grasp of engineering concepts including theoretical and practical applications for HVAC SystemsProficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programsKnowledge and familiarity in use of mechanical engineering software such as but not limited to heat loss/gain calcs, pipe-flo, CFD modeling, etc.

Salary TransparencyOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $106, 000 - $133,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
