The Reliability Engineer will interface with the appropriate maintenance and manufacturing resources to resolve, improve, and implement maintenance activities in a safe, responsible, and environmentally sound manner which is in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide the technical expertise on all matters of reliability engineering, assessment and monitoring for all process equipment. Carries out reliability studies on existing equipment and recommends needed improvements to Operations management in the areas of equipment philosophies, strategies and best practices for asset productivity. This position focuses on improving equipment performance versus sustaining or returning it to current performance standards. Implementing Mechanical Integrity (MI) best practices. Knowledge and Utilization of API codes Establish effective preventive and predictive monitoring and maintenance techniques to identify and define abnormal operating conditions. Define root cause failure analysis (RCFA) trigger points and analyzing data using appropriate reliability analysis tools to develop and implement corrective improvement plans. Provide technical expertise in regards to job plan development, equipment critical path, job scopes, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems. Define and approve repairs to service equipment, per RAGAGEPs, potentially including audit and evaluation of contracted repair organizations, and inspection of repair work. Assist maintenance planning in turnaround/outage preparation. Perform Management of Change (MOC) reviews for area of technical expertise.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering 3+ years working experience in Chemical Plant Maintenance, Chemical Plant Reliability and Mechanical Integrity.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
