Maintenance Engineers Needed! Paying up to $39/hr! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to planning, diagnosing faults, and repairing equipment, as well as supervising technical staff and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance. Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly. Diagnose faults and repair equipment efficiently. Supervise engineering and technical staff. Obtain specialist components, fixtures, or fittings as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation. Create and implement maintenance procedures. Manage stocks of supplies and equipment. Write programs to support maintenance activities. Assist maintenance teams in creating Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules. Essential Skills 5+ years experience with 480V and 3-phase systems. Fluent in instrumentation and process management, including valves, temperature controls, pH controls, and leveling controls. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and process management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with fluid instrumentation controls such as temperature, pH, and leveling. Work Environment Work is on-site, split between outdoor reactive maintenance and indoor preventive maintenance and repairs. The role involves working at heights up to 100 feet, including catwalks and boom lifts, in both indoor and outdoor settings. The schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with rotating on-call duties every few weeks. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling to accommodate vacation coverage, extended time off, or urgent projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.
