Job Description
HVAC Estimator / Inside Sales Engineer New Orleans / Metairie Area Who We Are We are Mechanical Concepts LLC , an established equipment distribution company expanding into the New Orleans / Metairie market. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a growing division within an established company and play a direct role in building and shaping the business. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, influence processes, and contribute directly to the growth and success of the division. Overview We are looking for motivated, high-caliber individuals with estimating experience who are eager to take initiative and grow within the company. In this role, you will work with commercial mechanical systems, supporting the selection and estimating of equipment in the commercial and industrial HVAC industry for construction projects. We represent leading manufacturers in the HVAC industry, including companies such as Daikin and BAC. Key Responsibilities Analyze construction plans and specifications for commercial mechanical systems Develop equipment selections and optimized project solutions Prepare pricing and detailed proposals Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for equipment selection and pricing Communicate with contractors, engineers, and internal teams Maintain organized project and bid documentation Provide technical support for customer inquiries and ongoing projects Manage project quotes and build relationships with contractors and engineers Qualifications Experience in HVAC estimating or related estimating experience Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Strong analytical, math, and computer skills High attention to detail and problem-solving ability Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to independently manage projects and prioritize workload Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment What You Will Gain Opportunity to play a key role in building a growing division Increased responsibility and autonomy Exposure to both the technical and business sides of the HVAC industry Direct impact on project success and company growth This role is well-suited for individuals who want to take initiative, add value, and grow with a high-performing team.
