Electrical HVAC Service Engineer

job summary: An Electrical HVAC Service Engineer is needed for a leading cooling technology organization in the Greenville, SC area. The Electrical HVAC Service Engineer is responsible for focusing on the troubleshooting electrical and controls systems of large-scale cooling systems. You are responsible for diagnosing deep-level electrical malfunctions, providing guidance on control logic, and ensuring that critical customer systems achieve final resolution. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in electrical design or technical support for commercial HVAC systems. You must be proficient in industrial PLC fundamentals, control cabinets, and the electrical logic of large chillers. This role requires a self-driven leader who can thrive in a high-pressure startup environment and adapt to occasional urgent travel. Candidates can work in a remote or hybrid capacity. Relocation assistance can be budgeted for someone wanting to relocate to Greenville, and 25% travel can be expected.
