design Drafting Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our team and drive the development, design, and optimization of mechanical systems and components. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects across various industries, ensuring the delivery of reliable, efficient, and sustainable solutions. As a Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring ideas from concept through to implementation, making a tangible impact on our products and processes. Duties Design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems, components, and prototypes in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Conduct calculations and testing to validate designs, identify potential improvements, and ensure performance reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical/plumbing/fire protections engineers, equipment manufacturer, and project managers to integrate mechanical solutions seamlessly into overall product designs. Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes. Troubleshoot HVAC issues during development or in the field, providing innovative solutions to optimize performance. Stay current with industry advancements, materials technology, and best practices to continuously enhance design efficiency and sustainability. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, or related engineering roles. Proficiency in CAD software such as REVIT or AutoCAD for creating detailed plan drawings. Strong understanding of materials science, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying solutions. Ability to work effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments. Strong communication skills for presenting ideas clearly and documenting technical information accurately.
