The firm is licensed in Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Colorado. The firm was started in 1990 and specializes in HVAC and plumbing design, construction supervision, and energy audits for buildings such as schools (K-12 and higher education), office buildings, churches, medical facilities, commercial, industrial, and mining facilities.

Paid Training and Continuing Education Position Summary:
Works with Architects and other design professionals to critically design and evaluate mechanical and plumbing systems for Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects. The Mechanical Engineer does load calculations, system designs, specification writing, and cost estimating for mechanical and plumbing systems.
What you will be doing:
Work with Architects and other design professionals to design and evaluate mechanical and plumbing systems for Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects. Prepare detailed engineered drawings and plans for HVAC, mechanical piping, and domestic plumbing systems using the latest BIM software Heating/cooling load calculations & analysis Equipment selection for air handlers, packaged units, boilers, chillers, pumps, coils, etc. Develop sequence of operation and control schematics Build specifications, review submittals and RFI's for construction Cost estimating for proposals Stay up to date with building codes, new technologies, and energy efficiency practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university 3+ years' experience in Revit, HVAC Design, Mechanical Engineering and Load Analysis EIT or PE license preferred (or willingness to obtain), Wyoming license is a plus Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or other drafting/BIM software Strong computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel) Ability to work well with other design team members, coordinate with multiple
