Position Overview We have an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Sales Engineer with strong technical knowledge of high-efficiency heat pump systems and hands-on installation operations experience. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background and a customer-focused approach, with a passion for modern electrification technologies. Manage an assigned sales territory. Develop new service and product accounts for heat pump retrofit projects. Serve as the primary customer relationship owner. Collaborate with installation teams to scope, design, and deliver HVAC solutions. Ensure all customers receive exceptional support from every HVAC department. Key Duties & Responsibilities Lead the sales process from initial customer engagement through project handoff Establish strong customer rapport and clearly articulate product and service offerings. Prepare accurate, complete sales proposals and project scopes. Provide installation guidance and collaborate closely with installation managers. Manage smooth post-sale transitions across teams. Educate customers on the benefits of high-efficiency heat pump systems and related technologies. Conduct regular follow-ups on bids, leads, and open proposals. Maintain accurate customer and project details in CRM software. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with emerging HVAC and heat pump technologies. Support team members to meet individual and departmental KPIs. Develop new accounts and expand territory reach. Prospect, cold-call, and engage with contractors and trade partners. Attend meetings with homeowners, contractors, and project stakeholders. Qualifications Formal training and manufacturer certifications for high-efficiency heat pump systems. Valid driver's license. AA degree, or equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of relevant experience. Minimum of five years of professional sales experience. Strong customer service background. Solid understanding of advanced principles of heating and air conditioning. Reliable, self-motivated, and highly organized. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Home Improvement Salesperson License. Solar experience is a plus. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Standing, walking, sitting. • Site surveys to include a thorough design review, including attic and crawl space work. Lifting objects to 30 pounds. Compensation package:
Salary:
$75,000.00•$250,000+ Salary + Commission•Compensation based on experience.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday•weekends as needed.
Travel requirements:
Client meetings, site surveys, and on-site closings.

Hybrid•office work/remote work.
