Job Description

Job Summary:
Our firm is seeking a highly organized and detailed oriented mechanical designer responsible for accurately preparing construction documents under the supervision of a Mechanical Engineer. Duties include conducting code research, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines, preparing construction drawings and specifications, and construction support services. A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required. The position requires proficiency in Autodesk Revit. This is a full-time - Exempt position.
Work Location:
Phoenix, AZ Yuma, AZ Essential Functions:
Design for federal, commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure projects. Prepare and HVAC and plumbing construction drawings and technical specifications. Construction support services (review equipment/material submittals, respond to contractor requests for information). Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing code. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Flexibility and adaptability to work in an agile work environment with personnel delivering from multiple locations or remotely. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Client (internal and external) service focus. Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing design. Bachelor of Science in
Engineering License and Certification Requirements:
Engineer in training certificate - preferred. Valid Driver's License and Evidence of Insurability.
