Hybrid (In-office and remote flexibility)We are a well-established MEP consulting firm based in Tampa, Florida, seeking a skilled Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across healthcare, education, commercial, and institutional sectors. Responsibilities:
Design plumbing and fire protection systems for new construction and renovation projects.

Prepare detailed construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.

Coordinate design efforts with internal teams and external stakeholders including architects, structural engineers, and contractors.

Conduct site visits and field assessments to support design development and construction administration.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design within the building systems industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is preferred.

Strong understanding of Florida plumbing code and NFPA standards.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
