Job Description
The City of Saint Paul's Department of Public Works Sewer Utility is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to provide support to sewer engineering, technical direction, and related administrative work in the support of the Public Works Sewer Utility Sewer Maintenance Section. Here's what you can expect to do: Develop and implement process improvements for sewer maintenance. Function as technical lead and emergency management representative for flood preparations, readiness planning, and events. Manage sewer buildings, specialized equipment, and vehicles. This position will be located at 419 Burgess St., Saint Paul, MN, working the hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm, on-site, with required daily on-site presence and minimal opportunity for remote work. This position requires availability to work outside regular hours whenever critical deadlines and/or emergencies arise.
