Job Description

Maintenance Reliability Engineer Draslovka is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join our site asset care team. The maintenance reliability engineer will lead maintenance activities to ensure compliance with Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEPs) to promote and protect equipment integrity. This position will ensure compliance with safety and design standards, develop and refine maintenance strategies, and minimize downtime by conducting inspections, analyzing data, producing repair plans and providing subject matter technical expertise. The person in this role may also lead commissioning activities, equipment start-ups, and troubleshooting and may provide off-hours technical assistance. The maintenance reliability engineer will provide support to area operations, maintenance, and mechanical contractors to improve equipment integrity, reliability, documentation, inspection and reporting, and maintenance programs. This position will report directly to the Mechanical Integrity/Quality Assurance (MIQA) and Reliability Manager at our Memphis, TN location. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop knowledge in specific process equipment to become subject matter expert in the review and preparation of maintenance work procedures and mechanic skills development/training. Aid in the development of robust maintenance plans, maintenance procedures, as well as design and specify equipment upgrades identified by inspections, uptime, action items, or reliability concerns. Assist in implementation of the Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance (MIQA) improvement initiative for mechanical equipment preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) plans, including commissioning and check out, for routine work and capital projects. Support reactive and corrective maintenance repairs including plan creation through field execution. Lead and participate in management of change activities for mechanical equipment including scope development, documentation and reviews for capital projects. Participate in process hazards analyses by serving as the MIQA/Reliability resource on the team. Prepare maintenance strategies based on RAGAGEPs and failure modes. Strategies would include preparation of preventive maintenance plans to assure optimum equipment integrity and performance. Maintain area mechanical equipment documentation (i.e. specifications, designs, procedures, etc.). Assist with spare part analysis and inventory development. To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering and 7-10 years of related experience or equivalent military experience Knowledge of mechanical equipment

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119
Process Safety Management (PSM) standard and high hazard processes Ability and willingness to expand knowledge and scope in maintenance techniques and new equipment technologies Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Strong communication, troubleshooting, decision making, project management, and leadership skills The following is preferred for this role: 5+ years of experience working in mechanical engineering Experience working in the chemicals industry Knowledge of risk-based inspection, equipment design, fabrication, repair codes, corrosion, damage mechanisms, and materials Development of Fitness for Service inspection plans Knowledge of
SAP CMMS
Software Working knowledge of Lean/Six-Sigma tools Relevant industry certifications
