Company Description C. B. Ragland Company is a privately held commercial real estate company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Over the past 30 years, we have led the transformation of Nashville with investments in office, retail, restaurants, hospitality, industrial, and parking. Our investments are located in some of the county's most dynamic submarkets. In addition to managing our firm's portfolio, we provide third-party property and asset management services, Owner's representative services, and development management services. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facility Engineer located in Nashville, TN. The Facility Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and maintenance of building systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations and managing preferred vendors in the maintenance of managed properties. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and managing facilities operations to maintain a high standard of safety, reliability, and efficiency. In addition you will act as a first responder for all facility issues, resolve if possible and if support is required, collaborate with Director of Property Management to coordinate a response with preferred vendors. Qualifications Facilities Maintenance, Facilities Engineering, Facilities Operations, and Facility Management (FM) skills Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to building systems Knowledge of and ability to perform Preventive Maintenance tasks Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Proficiency in using facility management software and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A minimum of 5 years of experience working in commercial real estate is required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred Must complete drug screening, background and MVR check This is a full time in person position, preference will be given to candidates who live within 45 minutes of downtown Nashville
