Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within the workplace. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including working with logic controllers and schematics. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities. Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion. Perform residential painting and other general maintenance tasks as needed. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Document all maintenance activities, including repairs made and parts used. Help perform preventative Maintenance. Skills Proficient in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise projects effectively. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. Experience with logic controllers is preferred. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
