Design and oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of plant facilities, machinery, and electrical systems to support optimal performance, reliability, and safety. Develop and apply preventive maintenance programs to help reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Analyze workflow, production processes, and maintenance procedures to identify areas for improvement, using industrial engineering methods to enhance operational efficiency and resource utilization. Prepare detailed estimates of labor, materials, and project timelines, working with management to align job priorities and resource needs. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to evaluate equipment specifications, select cost-effective materials, and implement new technologies that improve plant productivity. Conduct inspections of maintenance and installation work to verify compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and engineering best practices. Provide technical support for new plant construction, line modifications, and the commissioning of new systems. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, calibration records, and engineering reports, while reviewing technical journals and industry references to remain current with evolving standards. Participate in training activities for maintenance personnel to support skill development and consistent performance. Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across plant operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's - Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field of study. Will accept foreign equivalent.
Experience:
Two (2) years in the position above, Maintenance Supervisor or in a related maintenance role; Experience must include: 1. Coordinating and prioritizing maintenance requests received for subsequent distribution of activities among maintenance technicians, according to the specificity of the service, monitoring activities in person and through ERP systems; 2. Monitoring maintenance performance indicators; 3. Supporting variety of complex activities related to electrical, mechanical or building maintenance.
