Mechanical Designer Dallas, TX Company summary: Founded in 1979 , this Dallas-based architecture and engineering firm has decades of experience delivering integrated design and technical services across a wide range of project types. The firm's work spans architectural design, planning, interior design, structural engineering, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and related consulting services — all with a strong emphasis on collaboration, technical rigor, and client-focused outcomes.
Position summary:
Highly skilled RevitMEP / BIM
Specialist to support the development and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) building systems using Autodesk Revit. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-quality BIM models, producing construction documents, and coordinating MEP systems with architectural and structural disciplines. This position works closely with mechanical engineers and project managers to translate engineering designs into detailed BIM models and construction documentation.Key requirements:
Advanced Revit modeling BIM coordination and clash detection Construction documentation preparation MEP systems modeling (HVAC, piping, plumbing) Strong communication and coordination skillsRequired Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, or BIM-related field. Minimum 3-7 years of Revit MEP experience in the AEC industry. Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP. Experience producing construction documents for HVAC and plumbing systems. Strong understanding of MEP coordination and BIM workflows.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with mechanical engineering consulting firms. Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing system design concepts. Experience with large residential or commercial building projects. Knowledge of BIM coordination software (Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.). Experience creating custom Revit families and BIM templates.The Benefits:
