- Full-time Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Plumbing Project Coordinator to support commercial plumbing construction projects throughout the Fort Worth, Texas area.
This position serves as a key link between project managers, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and clients by helping coordinate project activities, documentation, scheduling, and communication to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Coordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, permits, change orders, and drawing revisions Assist project managers with scheduling activities, project tracking, and administrative coordination Facilitate communication between office personnel, field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients Monitor project milestones, inspections, material deliveries, and critical deadlines Maintain organized project files and ensure accurate distribution of updated documents Support procurement efforts by tracking materials, equipment, and vendor communications Conduct periodic jobsite visits to monitor progress and assist with project coordination efforts Prepare project reports, meeting notes, progress updates, and status summaries Assist with project closeout documentation including punch lists, warranties, and turnover packages Update information within project management platforms such as Procore, ShareFile, and Egnyte Help identify scheduling conflicts, coordination issues, and potential project delays Support operational teams with reporting, workflow management, and administrative functions Follow up on outstanding project items and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks Qualifications General understanding of commercial construction project coordination processes Previous experience in plumbing, mechanical, or commercial construction preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, project schedules, and document control procedures Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Valid driver's license preferred with acceptable driving record Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred Prior experience supporting commercial plumbing or construction projects preferred Experience working with project management and field operations teams is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required Core Competencies Project Coordination Construction Documentation Management Scheduling & Logistics Support Communication & Collaboration Organization & Time Management Problem Solving Teamwork Commercial Plumbing Operations Quality & Safety Awareness Administrative Support Benefits 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid holidays and paid time off Performance-based incentives and recognition opportunities Ongoing training and professional development opportunities At Colleague, we provide a fair and equal employment opportunity for all candidates regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, marital status, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic.
