What You Will Be Doing:

You will be the F-35 Organizational Maintenance Optimization (OMO) Systems Engineer Asc- Level 1, and will be an essential part of identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and implementing maintenance plan changes that will increase the Organizational maintenance capability while improving aircraft availability and reducing life cycle costs.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Desired Skills:

Private or military aviation experience focusing on core maintenance, sustainment, and engineering concepts Previous F-35 program experience. Low Observable, Structures and Crew escape maintenance concept experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges within a fast-paced environment. Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the application of Agile principles within a systems engineering framework. Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry/technical experience desirable but not required

Work Remotely:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
