You will be the Facilities Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the Facilities Engineering team. Our team is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. What You Will Be Doing As the Facilities Engineer Sr (Level 3) you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing facility and equipment modifications while ensuring compliance with company and government restrictions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Plan, design, and oversee facility and equipment modifications while ensuring regulatory compliance. Gather and analyze data, develop detailed CAD (Auto-CAD) layouts, and coordinate design criteria with architecture/engineering firms. Prepare cost estimates for construction and facilities acquisition, covering equipment, labor, materials, and related expenses. Inspect construction and installation progress, verify drawings, and maintain the record-drawing system. Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with a minimum of three years professional experience
- Ability to read and execute engineering drawings and specifications with a strong understanding of CAD systems
- Experienced in HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing systems and equipment design
Desired Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Knowledge of equipment commissioning, Building Automation and Systems (BAS)
- Experience in managing contract performance of designers and contractors/subcontractors
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and
ICC Security Clearance Statement:
