The Hotel Engineer is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards. This role plays a key part in providing a comfortable and seamless guest experience by addressing maintenance concerns promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong background in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and preventative maintenance practices. Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently are essential. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and public areas Respond quickly to maintenance requests from guests and staff Conduct preventative maintenance inspections Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards Keep accurate records of work completed and outstanding issues Assist with room out-of-order tracking and repair updates Skills Previous hotel maintenance or engineering experience preferred Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently Strong communication and organizational skills Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
