Job Overview Our Longview facility is founded on precision, reliability, and dedication — all of which rely on an exceptional maintenance team. As a Facilities Engineering Technician, you will play a central role in supporting the equipment, systems, and infrastructure that ensure safe and efficient production. This position combines hands-on technical tasks with project coordination, contractor management, and ongoing improvement efforts. Key Job Responsibilities Support facility safety and ergonomics, helping teams resolve workspace and environmental issues. Use AutoCAD, Excel, and Word to update diagrams, maintain documentation, and support facility projects. Inspect, verify, and quality‑check facility installations and maintenance work. Develop and execute scopes of work for maintenance and construction activities. Coordinate warranty repairs and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors. Apply working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, and building standards to support daily maintenance needs. Partner with general contractors to manage service schedules, project timelines, and completion milestones. Qualifications/Requirements Associate degree OR equivalent technical experience. 2-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction, system design, or industrial maintenance. Experience with building systems, construction methods, and manufacturing environments. Strong project coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with shop personnel, office staff, and leadership. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and blueprint reading. Clear communication skills and a commitment to accurate documentation. High attention to detail and a service‑oriented mindset. Electrical design and installation experience (general industry). Troubleshooting experience with electrical and control systems.
