Job Description

Overview The Facilities Engineer provides technical evaluation and guidance on engineering work related to oil, gas, and water production facilities, with a primary focus on tank batteries and compressor stations. This includes reviewing internal and contractor‑performed work to ensure full compliance with company specifications, industry standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements. The role supports the effective execution of discipline‑specific engineering and design processes that directly impact production operations. It also ensures accurate, timely communication across operations, engineering, and other company functions regarding facility performance, engineering activities, progress, and technical issues. In addition to strong technical acumen, the position requires excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to effectively support field operations and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Serve as the Area Engineer for operations within an assigned plant area. Collaborate with Facilities Engineers, Site Contacts, and Lead Engineers to support assigned operations and gain exposure to additional plant systems. Conduct monthly facilities surveillance, tracking and reporting area‑driven KPIs. Provide operational support for changes, repairs, and modifications to all plant pressure equipment—including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, and tanks. Support engineering activities for shutdown planning and execution. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and oversight for Tank Batteries and Compressor Stations, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation of field production equipment. Qualifications 5+years of Engineering experience required Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering is required Strong knowledge of discipline‑specific design standards, specifications, codes, and applicable safety criteria. Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequently shifting priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Must be able to meet conditional job offer requirements including background and drug test, fit for duty and agility.
