Job Description
Apply Description Tarantino Properties is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Engineer for office buildings in the San Antonio area. The commercial maintenance engineer is responsible for performing a wide range of duties across a variety of trades including plumbing, sheetrock, cleaning, painting, flooring, carpentry, concrete repair, and other related work.
Job Summary:
Perform preventive maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds on a commercial building portfolio throughout the San Antonio area.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High School Diploma or GED, preferably associate's degree or other trade school experience Additional professional certifications are a plus. Minimum 2 years of direct work experience in commercial property maintenance and operations. Must be a professional, dependable, flexible, & accountable individual with effective communication skills, positive attitude, & excels at Tenant relations. Must be motivated, takes initiative to complete tasks without constant direct supervision. Must have knowledge of facility maintenance & repairs including but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmith, painting, & other general repairs Must have reliable transportation & good driving record Must be able to pass pre-hire drug & background screeningESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform completion of work orders and maintenance requests, emergency repairs & response calls, and preventative maintenance. Inspect the properties regularly and ensure all building systems (elevator, HVAC, fire, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are working properly and are well maintained. Inspect and oversee any maintenance or repairs made by third party vendors to ensure the work is done properly as per the scope of work. Responds quickly to emergency situations including afterhours emergency calls Perform other duties as needed as determined byProperty Manager Requirements Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation and driver's license - prefer a truck as ladders, tools, etc. may need to be hauled to different properties. Engineer will be over multiple commercial properties in the San Antonio area. Main properties are located off of I-10 and 1604 and 410. (central north SA)Similar remote jobs
