We are focused on rapid delivery of high-performance, leading-edge facilities to support hyperscale, HPC, and AI customers across North America and Europe. We're seeking a hands-on Data Center Facilities Engineer to support mission-critical building systems and help maintain 100% uptime in a high-availability environment. Those with prior Navy experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Please read over the following duties to ensure your background/experience lines up with what we are seeking. Task will include but not be limited to : Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time including: fire/life safety, mechanical systems such as (HVAC, chillers, crac, crah, plumbing, controls), electrical including, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers, and subsystems. Monitor operations, adjust, and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; pumps, valves, piping, filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment. Must record readings and make and adjust where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment. Analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required. Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean and safe workplace. Understanding and complying with emergency escalation procedures. Learn and understand the data center site in order to manage incidents and events that put critical systems at risk. Manage work orders, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets. Perform additional job duties as required. Minimum Requirements :
2+ years of hands-on experience working in a data center/critical facility is preferred. Must be familiar with systems, emergency generators, and switchgear. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel. Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills. Preferred Requirements :
BMS/BAS and SKADA. Trained in NFPA70E. Physical work abilities and requirements : This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including: Walking in large, campus-like settings. Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment. Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights. Ability to Climb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit. Must be able to work rotational shifts (day/overnight) plus weekends. Must be able to respond to site emergencies when on call. Benefits :
