The Position Are you a hands-on Building Engineer who enjoys solving problems, maintaining high-performing building systems, and supporting commercial properties that tenants can depend on every day? We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Building Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll help maintain the day-to-day performance of building systems across a commercial portfolio while working alongside an experienced and collaborative property management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial building maintenance experience who takes pride in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and delivering responsive tenant service. What You'll Do Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems Perform preventative maintenance to keep building operations running efficiently Respond to tenant service requests in a professional and timely manner Coordinate with vendors and contractors performing building work Support building inspections, repairs, and ongoing maintenance projects Assist with monitoring critical building systems and equipment Participate in an on-call rotation with other Engineers Qualifications 2+ years of commercial building maintenance experience Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties as needed VAV troubleshooting and repair experience preferred
