JOB SUMMARY
As an Abbey Resort associate, you will have the opportunity to be part of an incredible team at an all service resort situated on the beautiful shores of Geneva Lake. The Engineer will assist leadership and guests with maintenance requests, identify problems and perform various room preventative maintenance tasks.QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORKEXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience in a similar job in the hospitality industry preferred. Ability to use hand tools.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Resolve guests' maintenance problems and handle all guest requests. Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks in all guestrooms and other resort areas (i.e. change filters, replace light bulbs, repair drapery tracks.) Complete and/or document basic work order requests. Perform swimming pool chemical tests and make necessary corrections, with training. Basic knowledge of EMS and life safety systems, with training. Accurately complete daily rounds sheets and identify and report major problems.MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
Effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned. Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours. Maintain professional working relationship with Grounds teamENVIRONMENT
