Full Job Description Engineering Technician Location:

Milpitas, CA Pay Rate:

$26-$30/hour + 10%

Shift Differential Shift:

Swing Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM-11:00 PM We are hiring a skilled Engineering Technician for a temporary opportunity in Milpitas, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and industrial facility maintenance . Join a team supporting critical building systems in a high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility equipment. Maintain boilers, chillers, cooling towers, clean steam generators, and backup generators. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems , plumbing, and general building equipment. Support clean room air balancing and environmental controls. Monitor and maintain BAS (Building Automation Systems) . Perform maintenance on RO/DI water systems , including bed changes, TOC checks, and meter calibration. Conduct chemical checks for chilled water loops. Complete light carpentry and general facility repairs as needed. Ensure all systems operate safely and within required parameters.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance . Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and automation controls. Experience with BAS systems and water treatment systems preferred. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment. Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently on swing shift.
