Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will perform hands‑on engineering lab support by building, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic and electromechanical development hardware to support product development.
Rate Range:
$24/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineering Technician Job Responsibilities include:
Perform hands-on electrical and electromechanical lab work, including building, assembling, testing, and modifying prototype boards and systems. Maintain the electronic development lab by ensuring equipment calibration, setup, and proper operation of standard EE bench tools. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair development boards using soldering techniques (including 0402 and smaller), rework, and wiring modifications. Execute test plans, collect and analyze data using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and function generators, and support performance verification. Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and written/verbal instructions to support development, testing, and documentation activities. Maintain detailed documentation throughout development and testing phases and collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting and process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field preferred; High School Diploma with equivalent technical training and experience considered. 1-2 years of electronics lab or bench experience, or 4-5 years with a High School Diploma. Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and soldering electronic development boards (including 0402 or smaller components). Proficiency operating standard EE lab equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, power supply, function generator) and following schematics and test plans. If you are interested in this role, then please click

Pay Details:
