Position:
Engineering Technician Join a high-performing team where you'll build and test complex mechanical and electrical systems in a cleanroom environment. This role directly supports process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and overall product quality. ️ What You'll Do Build products to spec and support continuous quality improvements Identify and report recurring build or performance issues Assemble, test, and troubleshoot high-level system components Lead processes from assembly through final testing Support pilot builds and transitions into full production Improve documentation, procedures, and workflows Share product and process knowledge across teams Coordinate daily production plans, tools, and materials Essential Skills Strong blueprint reading; mechanical + electrical assembly Experience with lean manufacturing, testing, or prototyping Skilled with hand tools, test equipment, and schematics Cleanroom and electronics testing/troubleshooting experience Solid computer and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications AS or BS in Engineering, Engineering Tech, Chemical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Prior manufacturing internship or co-op experience Lean Manufacturing exposure ( 5S, Kaizen, VSM ) Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danbury, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.40 - $26.40/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
