Johnson City, TN Key Requirements:
Experience working in a laboratory environment. Knowledge of
ISO/IEC 17025
requirements. Experience with equipment calibration and maintenance. Electrical product development experience preferred. Ability to analyze, document, and report test results. Experience supporting audits and quality management systems. SAP experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Ensure ongoing laboratory accreditation compliance with
ISO 17025
standards. Plan and execute testing activities and manage testing-related issues. Support calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment. Maintain testing schedules and ensure project timelines meet client expectations. Participate in accreditation audits and continuous process improvement initiatives. Support quality management system documentation, corrective actions, and procedure updates.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of laboratory environment experience. Minimum 1 year of electrical product development experience. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license with limited violations. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or technical training. PLC product experience. Experience in
A2LA ISO/IEC 17025
accredited laboratories. Understanding of IEC standards related to EMC, Safety, climatic, and mechanical testing. Equipment maintenance and calibration experience.
