Job Description

QComp Technologies is a robotic systems integrator located in the Fox Valley, serving clients throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Greenville, Wisconsin, QComp employs approximately 40 team members and specializes in robotic packaging systems, material handling systems, and full automation line integration. Our solutions support customers in the flat glass, solar, consumer products, food, pharmaceutical, plastics, paper, and metals industries. To support the continued growth of our Engineering Team, QComp Technologies is seeking a motivated and skilled Engineering Technician to join our organization in a full-time role. Position Overview As an Engineering Technician at QComp Technologies, you will work hands-on with a wide range of industrial and peripheral equipment integrated into custom robotic and automation solutions. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and project teams throughout the build, testing, and commissioning of advanced robotic systems. QComp operates a state-of-the-art, 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Greenville, Wisconsin. All robot cells are engineered, programmed, assembled, staged, and tested on-site in our environmentally controlled shop, allowing you to be directly involved in the full project lifecycle. How You Will Contribute In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by: Assisting with the staging, setup, and teardown of robotic system projects on the shop floor Supporting mechanical and electrical assembly of custom automation systems Working alongside Engineering Technicians to configure, troubleshoot, and test control systems during initial power-up Assisting Project Engineers with programming and software-related aspects of automation projects Helping ensure systems meet quality, safety, and customer specifications prior to shipment Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will bring: An Associate Degree in Automated Manufacturing Systems Technology or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience) A strong desire to work on a variety of technically challenging projects and deliver high-quality customer solutions Interest in industrial automation, robotics, and integrated manufacturing systems Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products and software (preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Why QComp Technologies At QComp, you'll join a growing engineering organization that values collaboration, hands-on learning, and innovation.
