Job Description

Onsite Intake note: Looking for multiple sub-contractors to support high visibility project at HON; tasks include DO-160 qualification testing and Validation and Verification testing of electronic hardware. Preferrable candidate has experience in testing. Use your knowledge of hardware engineering to help •deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our Business Aviation customers. Working alongside some of the world's most talented engineers, you will contribute to the development and sustainment of Client's advanced avionics products by performing and documenting Qualification and Verification tests. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals developing state-of-the-art products for new business aviation aircraft. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on Avionics products Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance Assist in product certification for customer & regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance Communicate non-compliance incidents to pertinent parties Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 6 years experience in Hardware/Product Engineering Experience in Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification
WE VALUE
Familiarity with Product Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.) Basic knowledge of electronic display principles Basic knowledge of hardware engineering standards and specifications Experience with Hardware Verification testing Experience with optical testing/evaluation instrumentation for electronic display characterization Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes Clear and concise communications
