Develop firmware, drivers, and hardware abstraction layers. Drive product features and functional/industry specifications. Involvement in specification for hardware platforms. Preferred Qualifications Proven creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to deliver proven work on tight schedules. Excellent collaborative skills. Experience with JTAG and other debuggers. Previous experience writing embedded device drivers. Previous experience with platform bring-up or porting of operating systems. Previous exposure to hardware and processor simulation. Minimum Qualifications A genuine passion for embedded development. Highly proficient in C/C++. Knowledge of hardware platforms & processor architectures. Bachelorʼs degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
