Job Description
PCB design role focused on creating high-reliability printed circuit board layouts using Siemens Xpedition for military, airborne, space, avionics, and verification testing applications. Job Requirements Siemens Xpedition CAD software experience required Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience accepted in lieu of a degree Experience creating PCB layouts using ECAD tools Experience with PCB design technologies for military, airborne, and space applications Experience with PCB layout techniques Experience interpreting electrical schematics Experience interpreting mechanical CAD data Knowledge of IPC Class 3 standards Ability to produce and release layout files, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings Preferred Skills Valor NPI experience BluePrint experience Cadence Allegro CAD software knowledge Altium software knowledge PADS software knowledge Experience supporting space-based applications Experience supporting avionics systems Experience supporting verification testing hardware Job Responsibilities Design printed circuit boards using Siemens Xpedition CAD software Create PCB layouts based on schematic and mechanical CAD data Produce layout files for fabrication and assembly release Create fabrication and assembly drawings Layout printed circuit boards according to customer requirements Collaborate with ECAD design teams and internal engineering customers Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams Coordinate with mechanical design engineers to ensure mechanical accuracy Ensure PCB layout accuracy Ensure PCB designs comply with IPC Class 3 standards Follow established design and fabrication guidelines Support PCB assemblies used in space-based, avionics, and verification testing applications
