Mixed-signal Board Designer (Altium)
Location:
Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid 3 days onsite minimum, 100% onsite preferred) Start date: July 2026

Mission-critical aerospace and defense electronics including mission computers, ruggedized displays, and embedded hardware systems.
Summary:
Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop custom analog and digital circuit boards for aerospace and defense applications. This individual will translate system requirements into schematics, PCB designs, and functioning hardware while supporting the full product lifecycle from concept through validation. The ideal candidate has strong Altium experience, hands-on board design expertise, and experience bringing hardware into production.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Altium Mixed-signal circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and board bring-up experience Ability to translate system requirements into electrical designs Experience with 4-6 layer PCBs, through-hole, and surface mount components Understanding of DFM, DFA, and DFT principles Embedded systems experience Good documentation skills Bonus skills (not required): Aerospace or defense electronics experience Strong analog circuit design background Experience with ruggedized electronic systems Familiarity with GIDEP and component obsolescence management Experience with mission computers, displays, or embedded systems
