Job DescriptionPosition SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer with strong experience in both digital and analog circuit design to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of mixed-signal hardware systems from concept through production. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across firmware, software, and manufacturing teams. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop digital and analog circuits, including mixed-signal systems.
Create schematics, select components, and perform circuit simulations.
Develop and review PCB layouts with attention to signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
Design and validate power supply circuits (LDOs, DC-DC converters, battery management systems).Implement high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, PCIe as applicable).Design analog front ends (AFEs) including amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC interfaces, and sensor signal conditioning.
Perform circuit analysis, tolerance analysis, and worst-case design verification.
Develop and execute hardware validation test plans.
Troubleshoot and debug boards using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
Collaborate with firmware and software engineers for board bring-up and system integration.
Support manufacturing, DFM/DFT reviews, and production test development.
Document designs, test results, and technical decisions clearly and thoroughly.
QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.3+ years of experience in hardware design (mid-level; adjust as needed).Strong experience in digital circuit design (microcontrollers, high-speed interfaces).Strong experience in analog circuit design (op-amps, filters, ADC/DACs, power regulation).Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence, OrCAD, KiCad).Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE).Hands-on lab debugging and board bring-up experience.
Understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and grounding strategies.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC design best practices.
Strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred QualificationsExperience with mixed-signal system architecture.
Experience designing multilayer PCBs.
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards (e.g., UL, CE, FCC).Experience with low-power design techniques.
Exposure to embedded systems and firmware interaction.
Experience in product lifecycle support from prototype to mass production. The salary range listed is an estimate.
