Job Description

PCB Design Engineer develops complex multilayer printed circuit board layouts from released schematics through fabrication documentation and production support. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering 7+ years of hands-on PCB layout and design experience with PCB design as the primary function Advanced proficiency in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer/Editor Proven ability to independently complete complex board layouts Strong understanding of IPC standards Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes Experience with multilayer stackup Experience with controlled impedance routing Experience with high-density board layouts Experience working within structured release and configuration management systems Preferred Skills IPC CID or CID+ certification Experience with high-speed digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, and SERDES Experience with RF layout and transmission line design Experience with BGA fan-out and fine-pitch components Experience with power distribution networks and decoupling optimization Experience with mixed-signal board layout Experience with EMI mitigation, grounding, and thermal design techniques Experience supporting DFM and DFT reviews Experience working with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors Job Responsibilities Develop PCB layouts from released schematics, netlists, and engineering requirements Perform component placement and routing for complex multilayer boards, including high-density and controlled impedance designs Execute high-speed digital, power, RF, and mixed-signal layouts Apply design techniques for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI mitigation, grounding, and thermal performance Generate complete fabrication and assembly documentation packages Interface with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve technical questions Support DFM and DFT reviews and incorporate feedback into board designs
Pay:
