Job Description

As a Hardware Engineer you must have the ability to potentially handle multiple assignments, collaborate with others as well as work independently. Must be able to form professional relationships and have good written and verbal communications skills. A self-managed style and the ability to routinely prioritize and organize work are required.
Requirements:
  • Expert at plant instrumentation, testing and calibration.
  • Expert at all things electronic, electrical (power & grounding).
  • Expert at I/O subsystems. MTL/GE/Emerson 8000 I/O a big plus.
  • Expert at
DCS & HMI
design.
  • D3 Control system knowledge a plus.
  • Expert at I/O panel/cabinet design and fabrication.
  • Excellent mechanical, troubleshooting, network, communications and wiring skills required with attention to detail.
Expectations:
  • Bachelor's degree 7+ years' or with associates degree 10+ years' experience quoting small to large plant control systems.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of algorithm design and programming logic
  • Exhibit proficient problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • To be successful in this role, you must be self-guided and have a strong work ethic.
  • This position requires a valid driver's license.
  • This position will require total attendance in our Owings Mills facility.
  • Travel required.
