Hardware Engineer

As a Hardware Engineer you must have the ability to potentially handle multiple assignments, collaborate with others as well as work independently. Requirements:
- Expert at plant instrumentation, testing and calibration.
- Expert at all things electronic, electrical (power & grounding).
- Expert at I/O subsystems. MTL/GE/Emerson 8000 I/O a big plus.
- Expert at
DCS & HMI
design.- D3 Control system knowledge a plus.
- Expert at I/O panel/cabinet design and fabrication.
- Excellent mechanical, troubleshooting, network, communications and wiring skills required with attention to detail.
Expectations:
- Bachelor's degree 7+ years' or with associates degree 10+ years' experience quoting small to large plant control systems.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of algorithm design and programming logic
- Exhibit proficient problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- To be successful in this role, you must be self-guided and have a strong work ethic.
- This position requires a valid driver's license.
- This position will require total attendance in our Owings Mills facility.
- Travel required.
