Job Description
Stellantis PRSW organization is seeking HIL and xIL Development Engineer to work on the HIL Hardware, Modeling & integration for xIL systems. The Candidate will work on plant model development (reduction of plant models for usage on HIL systems and populate the plant models repository with library models) and integration in the MIL, SIL and HIL environment. The candidate must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in development of HIL systems (dSPACE, ETAS, NI etc.) with thorough knowledge of HIL simulator hardware, ECU electrical interface definition and harness development. The Candidate will be the primary interface between HIL development team and external teams such as SW, Controls, CAL teams and also involves in collaborating with teams for HIL requirements and impact analysis. In this position, the candidate shall interface with cross-functional team of ECU Hardware, Systems, SW, Controls, Plant Modeling and Calibration engineers to rapidly have the HIL simulator setup for a specified vehicle configuration and resolve HIL simulation environment and/or integration issues, triage, troubleshooting during commissioning of HIL test properties.
The Candidate must be a strong team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience and expertise (ICE, Transmission, EE, hybrid and BEV systems). The engineer must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. The engineer will be working with global teams (NA, EMEA, APAC and LATAM). Other responsibilities include conducting benchmarks, evaluating new HIL technologies, working with teams on process, methodology and tools.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in automotive industry and Hardware in Loop/HiLExperience with plant and controller modeling, simulation, development and testing.
Experience in Model Based Development on any Powertrain Application, preferred Matlab-Simulink/Stateflow/SimScapeKnowledge and experience with Powertrain ICE, HEV and BEV systemsDemonstrated Hardware- In-the-Loop systems experience (dSPACE, ETAS, NI HIL systems)Experience with C/C++ code generationExperience with 1-D physical modeling tools such as GT Power, AMESim and co-simulation toolsHands on experience with the dSpace Simulators (Scalexio), Harness design, implementation, Electrical Loads etcExperience with HIL electrical/ wiring harness, load box design, implementation and troubleshootingExperience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINKKnowledge of CAN stack, SPI, LIN and Flash bootloader integrationKnowledge in diagnostic management: CANalyzer, CANoeKnowledge of Simulation Tool (e.g. CarMaker, ASM)Knowledgeexperience with
