Full Job Description Role:
Analog Power Design Engineer Client:
Defense-Aerospace Hourly Rate:
up to $58/hr W2, non-benefited

McLeansville, NC Clearance:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. We encourage you to apply if you have experience with any of the following: High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters. High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology
Desired Skills:
Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories Circuit Design expertise Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis) Feedback / Control systems experience Power System architecture and grounding Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Ability to travel as needed
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
