Associate Hardware Project Engineer ABB

This position reports to:
Production Supervisor __ The Associate HW Project Engineer is part of the Engineering team in Automation Energy Industries in the USA. The person in this role will assist in designing engineering solutions, including preparing drawings, calculations, bills of materials, engineering instructions and processes. The work model for the role is : #LI-Onsite inCleveland, OH Your Role and Responsibilities:
Work as part of an integrated design team to meet project requirements and deliverables Design automation enclosures and establish system cabinet assembly requirements Certify equipment outline drawings, power consumption and cooling requirements for ABB provided equipment Generate the necessary system orders for ABB equipment and/or purchase orders for third-party equipment, and periodically monitor their delivery status Create, deliver, and update the Assembly Data Package; verify the work performed by assembly shops Staging, inspecting, and testing ABB and third-party equipment; assembly of system control and HMI equipment cabinets Documentation of hardware and firmware revision levels Functional testing of automation enclosures before shipment Documentation and delivery of proper forms confirming system and completion and conformity with established quality documents Our Team Dynamics Our teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Role:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) Minimum 2 years relavant experience Familiarity with hardware design and execution, prior experience with DCS (Distributed Control Systems) is a huge plus; 1 or more years' relevant experience preferred. Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools Proficiency with MS Office Suite Initiative, creativity, and great attention to detail; collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills Candidates must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of USA; relocation assistance is not available What's in it for you?
