12+ Month W2 Contract (No C2C or Sponsorship Available) Overview Talent Groups is seeking a hands on Hardware Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of advanced positioning, control, and automation technologies used in industrial and heavy equipment applications. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working in a lab environment, building test setups, executing validation plans, troubleshooting hardware issues, and collaborating with cross functional engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Execute environmental, vibration, and stress testing of hardware products Configure test setups, fixtures, wiring harnesses, and lab equipment Perform test procedures, scripts, and validation activities with minimal supervision Document test results and maintain accurate records to ensure data integrity Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate product failures and test issues Support Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) activities Track testing activities and issues using Jira Collaborate with validation engineers, lab personnel, and engineering teams Assist with continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation Required Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or a related technical field 3+ years of experience in a hardware testing, validation, or engineering lab environment Experience executing test procedures and maintaining detailed documentation Hands on experience with Digital Multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, and power supplies Experience supporting or executing DVP&R activities Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record keeping Preferred Qualifications Experience with environmental test chambers and data acquisition systems Knowledge of MIL STD 810 and
SAE J1939
